Tucked away on a quiet mountain lane and surrounded by protected forestland, the spacious 2500 sq ft. house has four well-appointed bedrooms, two living areas plus a game room. The lodge was completely renovated in 2021 & offers plenty to keep the whole gang entertained!

BEDROOMS
The master suite is private and peaceful. A king-size bed enjoys a quiet corner of the house and creates a cozy space to recharge after a long day. The floor to ceiling windows allow light to stream in, and blackout shades ensure that you won't get woken up before you're ready.
Three more bedrooms include:
• Two bedrooms each have a queen-size bed with plush memory-foam mattresses and vintage dressers so you can unpack for your stay
• A fourth bedroom on the first floor has three twin-sized antique beds with brand new mattresses
• Three pristine full bathrooms are all newly-renovated and offer showers and a tub (upstairs)
LIVING & LOUNGING
The living area is bright and open. Soaring vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows allow the natural sunshine to flood the space with light. Unwind on the two velvety, emerald green sofas. Watch Netflix, Hulu or Disney+, play games, or simply enjoy the gas fireplace.
The kitchen is open to the living area — perfect for large groups. A long dining table can seat up to 8 people for meals. A peninsula bar has casual stool seating for three more. The fully-equipped kitchen holds all the supplies you’ll need to prepare snacks, meals, and cocktails for your crew.
A brand new extra living space, play area and game room are located on the first floor and offer a nice separation from the upstairs kitchen/living areas. A huge comfy sofa faces the large, wifi-enabled flatscreen television, the whole group can comfortably watch movies together. Play a game of pool or try your hand at the new digital Star Wars pinball machine. Adults and kids of all ages will love this cool hang out space! Tucked under the stairs there's a cozy reading nook just for little guests to enjoy.
OUTSIDE
On the ground level, a sparkling hot tub is irresistible at the end of a long day. Relax here with a glass of wine and listen to the sounds of the forest. In the evenings, gather around the fire pit for scary stories and s’mores.
To enjoy the beauty and peace of the Poconos, simply step outside. A sun-dappled deck space with a barbecue is perfect for grilling juicy burgers and hot dogs. Or kick back in one of the Adirondack chairs with your mug of morning coffee. Keep an eye out for families of deer strolling nearby.
Or, enjoy some time at The Pavilion, where you can enjoy outdoors meals and even try cooking on the wood-fired chimney. You’ll also find plenty of yard games to inspire family tournaments, including horseshoes and croquet.

Enjoy a day of adventure and then return to Chestnut Tree Lodge, your personal mountain oasis, to dine and relax with your family.

If you do choose to leave, world-class hiking, the lake at Hickory Run State park and the quaint mountain town of Jim Thorpe are less than 15 minutes away.

Please note that this is NOT a party house and we ask that guests be respectful of our neighbors and observe the community quiet hours of 10pm - 8am while outdoors.
NOTES
A note about the road: Sycamore Court is a private unpaved gravel road. It is plowed in the winter after snowstorms, but we strongly recommend that guests drive either a 4-wheel or All-wheel drive vehicle in the winter months. Rear-wheel drive cars may get stuck.

• Wifi: Lightning-fast wifi is available throughout the home and outside on the patio.
• Lake Access: Heidi’s Lodge is close to 3 beautiful lakes with sandy beaches.
• Close to skiing: 1/4 mile from the entrance to Big Boulder.
• Parking: There's parking for up to 4 cars in the driveway.
GUEST INTERACTION
You'll have access to the entire home and grassy 1-acre yard, plus there's a lot to explore right outside in the woods and protected nature preserve that surrounds the house on 3-sides.
Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns prior to booking. We welcome friends and family, and the primary renter for each group must be 25 years or older.
Well-behaved and housebroken pets under 50 lbs are welcome with a $75 pet cleaning fee.
In accordance with local ordinances, guests will be asked to provide a list of guests and their vehicles about 1 week prior to the start of each reservation. Thanks for understanding!
